Canady struck out nine and allowed just two hits over seven innings to help the Cardinal earn a 3-0 win over LSU in Game 2 of the Stanford Super Regional on Saturday, forcing a decisive Game 3 on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Stanford opened the scoring in the third inning. After sophomore Taryn Kern crushed a two-out triple off the top of the right-field wall, Kyra Chan brought her home with an RBI double.
