The 2022 Genie Music Awards ceremony, hosted by Korea’s Genie Music, was held on Nov. 8 in Incheon.
Eligible for this year’s awards were digital songs and albums released from Oct. 1, 2021 to Oct. 5, 2022.K-pop boy band NCT Dream and trot singer Lim Young-woong emerged as the biggest winners by bagging the daesang or grand prizes.
NCT Dream won Singer of the Year and Album of the Year for “Glitch Mode.” Lim Young-woong bagged the Song of the Year for “Our Blues, Our Life.”BTS won two awards: Best Male Group and IdolPlus Global Popularity Award.
