The National Disability Insurance Scheme could become “the biggest burden” to the Australian taxpayer, says Sky News Contributor Kel Richards.
“This was Julia Gillard’s idea and it was a thought bubble; there was never a budgeting, a costing for it, there was never a forward plan, an idea how it would work and so it just got bigger and bigger and bigger,” Mr Richards told Sky News host James MacPherson.
“If you start admitting that anyone with any disability needs to be a part of this and supported by the Australian taxpayer, it could become the biggest burden on our tax system that exists – the single biggest burden.”
