BACOLOD CITY – The Negros Occidental Provincial Health Office has reported a 183.62 percent increase in dengue cases in the first seven months of the year. 

BACOLOD CITY – The Negros Occidental Provincial Health Office has reported a 183.62 percent increase in dengue cases in the first seven months of the year.

Hinoba-an town has the highest number of cases with 314, followed by Sipalay City with 222, Bago City, 207; Talisay City, 182; Kabankalan and Sagay cities with 173 each, Silay City, 163; Cadiz City, 162; San Carlos City, 161, and Cauayan, 141. Pinongan said that there are other cases that were reported late, thus, she met health officers in each locality to find out the situation on the ground.
