Neighbors near the West Haven home where authorities say a 12-year-old boy died from neglect and abuse are not shocked by the accusations against his family.

One community member who wished to remain anonymous said he personally reported the family to police multiple times. Arrest documents related to the child abuse homicide case also revealed that investigators found cameras around the victim’s home, along with deleted cell phone video files of the child in his room.
