An Ashlyn Close resident says she heard screaming as police investigate an “absolutely traumatic” triple murder.
A neighbour, who did not wish to share their name, said: “It was between 6.30pm and 7pm last night and it literally just sounded like kids, somebody, screaming, and then it was more shrill and I was like, ‘that’s definitely a woman screaming’, and within 15 minutes, it was absolute chaos.“We had armed police running down, screaming ‘stay in your house’…. they shut us off and basically put us into lockdown.
Another Bushey resident, a mother of two, says she saw someone running from Ashlyn Close. The 47-year-old said:"We usually eat dinner early but yesterday we had it at seven. "We're all so nervous and our son has a friend from school in the road so we're feeling so worried. We never expected this in such a quiet place."Herts Police have urged anyone who sees Kyle Clifford, who is from the Enfield area, not to approach him but to call 999 “straight away”.
