Officers are probing a claim that Neil Lennon's son was subjected to a threatening taunt while playing for his new club. The 'bullets in the post' comment was allegedly overheard by the teen's mum who has since reported the incident to the club.
A probe has been launched over claims Neil Lennon's teenage son was subjected to a threatening taunt about bullets through the post, which was reportedly overheard by his mum.
The Daily Record reports the recent "bullets" taunt at the weekend match against East Fife, was overheard by the teen's mum Irene, who was in the stands. She has since reported the incident to the club who have now reported it to Police Scotland. “Gallagher’s mum heard this and took exception to what had been said. The fan approached her afterwards and looked to apologise for what was said. But clearly it had crossed a line and was reported to the club.”
