Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon is reportedly in talks for a managerial comeback with Rapid Bucharest in Romania, seemingly edging out ex-Celtic boss Martin O'Neill for the position. Since being let go from Omonia in October 2022, despite guiding them into the Europa League through Cypriot Cup success, Lennon has been considering various roles, including potential openings at Republic of Ireland and Aberdeen.
Rapid sports director Daniel Sandu expressed his hope for change, saying: "Moving forward, we have to figure out exactly what we're looking for and what we want from both the players and the new staff. At the moment we are not in a very good place, but I have faith the new management team will reset us and show what Rapid is all about."
