Neil Warnock jokes about his future after guiding Huddersfield to safety
had come out of retirement at the age of 74 to return to Huddersfield – 30 years on from his last spell in charge.
But Warnock, who was treated to a guard of honour after Huddersfield’s safety was confirmed, declared he couldn’t bare the thought of taking the reins on a permanent basis.In his post-match press conference he said: “I couldn’t do ten months of this. I’ll be back next February somewhere. I’m sure she’ll get fed up of me at home.”
“The new owner is coming over, I think for the game on Monday, and no doubt I will have a chat with him.
