Actor Lior Raz went to the frontlines of Israel's battle with Hamas in order to help save isolated families in the southern part of the country.
Lior Raz played Doron Kabilio in Netflix show Fauda and now he’s taking to the frontline in Israel Netflix’s Fauda star Lior Raz has gone to Israel’s frontline to help his ‘brothers in arms.’ This comes after Palestinian militant group Hamas launched attacks on Israel on Saturday, leading to a conflict that has since claimed over 1,700 lives on both sides. The 51 year-old actor posted a video on Twitter/X, in which he can be seen ducking behind a wall as rockets are fired overhead.
In Fauda – which was co-written by Lior – the actor plays an IDF veteran who works in a vineyard, before getting roped back into active duty. This weekend’s major development comes amid years of conflict between Israel and Palestine. Lior plays Doron Kabilio in Fauda, which he also co-wrote Many Palestinians are restricted to living in the Gaza strip – a coastal region, and one of the most densely populated places in the world – by the Israeli government.
