The Guardian awarded the show four stars, praising it as a "slick, smart conspiracy thriller that gets better and better" with each instalment. Collider was impressed with the show as well, describing it as an "excellent, twisty thriller" that's mainly "a showcase of Colman Domingo's powerful screen presence.
