When it premiered in the summer of 2023, Netflix 's live-action adaption of One Piece took the world by storm, so, of course, the countdown for One Piece season 2 has been on ever since. Adapting beloved manga and anime stories to a live-action format is no easy feat, but Netflix seems to have struck gold with One Piece. Based on the original story by Eiichiro Oda, who's also involved in the live-action series, One Piece follows the story of a young pirate named Monkey D.
“We’ll do all of it because, at this point, we’re writing for her — we really, really want her to come and play with us in Season 2.” However, seeing that Curtis began filming the long-anticipated sequel to Freaky Friday in Los Angeles in June 2024, it might remain as a dreamcast.
