Based on a novel by Sarah Pinborough, 'Behind Her Eyes', Netflix viewers have gone wild for the 'chilling' series.
Netflix fans have stumbled upon a gripping thriller series hailed for having the 'coldest ending ever', which originally premiered on the streaming giant back in 2021. The show, 'Behind Her Eyes', adapted from Sarah Pinborough's novel, follows a single mother who falls for her psychiatrist boss and becomes entangled in an affair.
Alongside a screenshot from the show, a Facebook post by one viewer called Mlekeleli reads: "One of the coldest endings I've ever seen." Shelley Dean was surprised by the finale: "Great twist at the end didn't see it coming." Judy Frederick concurred: "This is a great watch." However, not everyone was impressed with the twisted ending. Caroline Framke wrote for Variety: "Here's the thing about the ending of 'Behind Her Eyes': it's surprising, but even more than that, it's stupid."
However, once Louise turns on Adele for good, trying to secure David for herself, Adele decides to burn her life down. She sets her house on fire and overdoses.
