England are in Euro 2024 semi final action tonight as they take on the Netherlands in Dortmund for a place in Sunday's final against Spain.
The victory on penalties followed an extra time win over Slovakia in the previous round, in which Jude Bellingham produced a moment of magic in the 95th minute to steer the tie to extra time, with Harry Kane nodding home the winner in the opening minute of the extra 30. Netherlands got off to a slow start to their Euro 2024 campaign, picking up only four points in their group stage which saw them qualify for the knockout stage as one of the best third-placed teams having finished behind both Austria and France in Group D.
Netherlands lead the all-time head-to-head between the two teams 7-6, though there have been nine draws in that time.
