The supermarket has invested £1.4billion in a pledge to open 500 more stores across the UK over the next two years.
Aldi has revealed the full list of "priority" areas where it would like to open up more branches - and it includes two locations in the Glasgow area.
Most of the areas included on the list are based in England, although it has listed Clarkston and Cathcart in Scotland as two potential locations for new stores. The supermarket will also be investing in the development of new and expanded distribution centres, including its new distribution centre in Leicestershire.
