Craven Arms has a new police constable joining its Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).
PC Henry King-Salter returns to West Mercia after transferring back to the force last month and has joined as a new Safer Neighbourhood Officer .He will join the team working alongside two PCSOs making use of the Craven Arms Community Centre on a daily basis.
“I hope to become that friendly reassuring face that people feel comfortable to come and speak to about whatever they wish and being someone the community feel safe to turn to in a time of need.” “PC King-Salter, who has over 15 years of policing experience and will be dedicated to his area along with two PCSOs, Lisa Thomas and Jay Rees.”
The SNT plays a crucial role in fostering community engagement, resolving local issues, and providing public reassurance. In addition to their responsibilities, they collaborate with officers in West Mercia Police's patrol, investigation, problem-solving and specially trained Rural and Business Crime Officers to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our communities.
