Thousands of people have signed an online petition calling for the £400 Energy Bills Support Scheme to be reinstated.
More than 10,200 people have signed an online petition calling on the UK Government to bring back the £400 Energy Bills Support Scheme for winter 2023/24. The milestone is significant because it means the proposal has now reached the threshold to trigger an official response from the UK Government.

The ‘Reintroduce the Energy Bills Support Scheme for winter 2023/24 ’ petition has been posted on the official petitions-parliament website and states: “Although energy prices are decreasing, they still remain well above normal levels.
