It’s the first day of school at the brand-new charter school in Prattville’s High Point Town Center.
)— Ivy Classical Academy offers a “classical liberal arts education.” It’s a tuition-free public school partnering with Hillsdale College to provide its curriculum. This year, Ivy Classical Academy will serve students in kindergarten through 5th grade and will add a grade each year until it serves students all the way through 12th grade.
Ivy Classical Academy was in the process of coming to Autauga County, but it shifted to Elmore County so the school could be placed in the High Point shopping center, which is technically located in the Elmore County section of Prattville. It transformed a 120,000-square-foot space into a learning environment designed to include specialized facilities to meet the school’s growing needs.
