A new city is set to rise in Sydney's west, with thousands of homes to be built around the Western Sydney Airport.
The plan, developed by the Bradfield Development Authority, will turn the currently barren 114 hectares into a walkable parkland city and will also include spaces for industrial and commercial use. Bradfield City's centre will be within 400 metres of the new Bradfield Metro station. "The Bradfield City Centre Masterplan provides a critical blueprint to help guide development and strategically plan for Western Sydney's new world-class city," Minister for Western Sydney Prue Car said.Bradfield City will also include a two-hectare Central Park, a naturally integrated swimming pool and a major events space for concerts and community events.
