Pfizer says its 'extraordinary' new COVID pill cuts risk of hospitalization and death by almost 90% among high risk adults
Pfizer Inc released preliminary clinical trial results on Friday showing its antiviral pill reduced hospitalization and death rates by 89%. The pill, called PF-07321332, works by inhibiting an enzyme that the coronavirus uses to make copies of itself inside human cells.
