Braiden Graham, aged 16, will represent the Northern Ireland Under-19s at their upcoming Euros
New Everton starlet Braiden Graham has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for Under-19s Euros - at the age of 16. The youngster, who arrived at the start of the month after a long pursuit by the Blues, earned headlines when he became the youngest player to make a senior appearance for his former club Linfield.
Graham made his senior debut in the season before last. He was aged just 15 years and 137 days when he came on for Linfield at Dungannon Swifts in March 2023. Weeks later, he was at Goodison Park as a guest when Abdoulaye Doucoure scored the final day goal that clinched Premier League survival for Everton against Bournemouth that season.
Of the impression Everton made on him, Graham recently said: “The whole feeling around the club made me think it was perfect for me. I felt there was a good pathway at Everton for me. It just felt right. I was at Goodison Park on the final day of that season and Everton beat Bournemouth 1-0 to stay up. Watching that game, I was like, ‘I want to play here’.
