A unique photography exhibition has captured the views of children and young people in Northern Ireland living with type 1 diabetes.

The exhibition has been curated by young people aged 11-25 as they shine a light on what life with type 1 diabetes is like through the medium of photography.She said: “The photography project has been an amazing opportunity to learn new skills and to find a way to express my thoughts and feelings on diabetes through a creative medium.

”Being able to have my photos and my work in an art gallery is such an amazing opportunity. I am very excited to see my work and all the other young people's work in the exhibition and to see everyone's hard work come to life!” “It has been wonderful to work alongside them during this project and watch their creativity and experiences really shine through. If you would like to learn more about the exhibition, we would love to see you at the launch where we will be joined by the young people and their families to celebrate their achievements and collection of images.”
