It comes after a sign was installed the 'wrong way round' in the city's Southside last month.

The sign - which has been placed near the entrance of Glasgow Central Station - depicts Merchant City, Buchanan Street and Queen Street to the right of the station, and the West End and Blythswood to the left.CouncilSpeaking on the mistake, a Glasgow City Council spokesperson said:"We are aware of some incorrectly installed wayfinding/map units.

"These works are being undertaken by our contractors on behalf of the council, and we’re working with them to identify and rectify any issues - a process that will continue until we are satisfied."The pointing arrows have now been covered up with gaffer tape to rectify the issue in the meantime.It comes after a sign was installed the"wrong way round" in the city's Southside last month.

The sign was erected on May 26 on Victoria Road in Govanhill. It is unknown if the directions have since been fixed, but Glasgow City Council confirmed, at the time, that it would be corrected.
