Images of a man wanted in connection with the murder of a woman in Sunderland last week have been released by police.

Pic: Northumbria PoliceA reward of £10,000 is being offered by the charity Crimestoppers for any information that leads to his arrest. Carr is from Sunderland, but is also known to visit Newcastle and North Tyneside, and has links to some areas in Northumberland and London.
Northumbria Police wrote in a tweet that Carr"considers himself able to survive outdoors", so he could be taking shelter in empty buildings or outhouses.Chief Superintendent Neil Hutchison said officers are determined to find him soon as possible. Thanking the people of Sunderland for their support so far, he said:"Clearly this past week has been incredibly difficult for Ms Hanson's family as they come to terms with her loss and these events which have unfolded.Related Topics
