New information has emerged regarding Justin Timberlake's arrest for driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons, New York.Timberlake, 43, was held overnight by Sag Harbor Police Department ahead of his arraignment at the eastern Long Island village's courthouse Tuesday morning.Officers tailing the singer said that they watched him run a stop light and swerve at least twice, while also failing to stay in the correct lane as he drove his BMW through the village.
'Per TMZ, his friends then arrived and asked officers to cut him a break, but they placed him under arrest.Footage taken by Hamptons.com, described as the sole source of continuous live video feed in the Hamptons, shows a vehicle purportedly being driven by Timberlake moments before his arrest. In the clip, the vehicle in question is seen swerving slightly while following another car down an otherwise empty street.
