'New Look's £40 shacket is so soft and thick, it feels like a designer buy'

As the weather finally starts to feel more autumnal, our OK! deputy style director Zoe tries out a New Look shacket that has glowing 5-star reviews from shoppers who call it 'soft' and 'luxury-looking'

Who else is a little bit relieved that autumn seems to finally be settling in? The warm weather has been lovely, but I'm desperate to start wearing some cosier new-season jackets and jumpers.

The jacket itself is made from a heavy-duty boiled wool effect fabric, which worried me a little because wool-effect fabrics sometimes have a tendency to feel scratchy on the skin. It also features a button-up front and two pockets.
