A new low pressure area was spotted early Wednesday morning over Palawan but is embedded along Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone , according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration .Pagasa said the weather disturbance was last seen at 3 a.m., Wednesday, in the vicinity of Puerto Princesa City.The LPA is affecting areas of Palawan and Mindanao, the state-run weather agency said.
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are forecast over the provinces of Cagayan and Quezon, Pagasa said.Meanwhile, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao Region will also have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to LPA and ITCZ, it said.
