A new initiative to use golf to teach important academic skills will launch this spring, and Friday is the deadline to register.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -
“Participating in the sport of golf provides valuable opportunities for young people to become leaders both on and off the course. By pairing STEM education with golf, young people can develop numerous skills,” expressed Quincy Leonard, founder of LEO Golf Academy. “I am proud to partner with Golf. My Future. My Game., and all the middle schools in the Montgomery area.
The LEO GOLF Academy’s mission is to challenge junior golfers to LEO by promoting character development, life skills, and values through the game of golf and the Holy Spirit. We aim to hook our kids on golf as a life-long sport, teach them the rules of the game, train in the area of fitness, develop mental toughness, and on-course training with a tactical and strategic approach.
