Looking for a hotel destination for a child-free weekend? Here's what happened when M&B reviewed the beautiful Ellenborough Park in the Cotswolds...
Baby-free windows are rare and hard to come by, that's why we have hunted around for the most relaxing and indulgent getaways for new mums.Take a trip to the Cotswolds and stay at the 15th-century country estate Ellenborough Park which fuses tradition and modernity for a well-deserved break like no other.
Located across Ellenborough Park’s numerous buildings, each room has oh-so-comfy Hypnos beds to sink into with luxury toiletries and fluffy dressing gowns and slippers to lounge around in.We stayed in a Luxury Room which came with beautiful views, a Nespresso machine and an in-room roll-top bath, the ideal place where you can sink amongst the bubbles with a glass of something fizzy and be sure you won’t be interrupted by an excitable toddler wanting to join in.
There are seven treatment rooms with a range of treatments to choose from including facials and full body scrubs, combining both Eastern and Western techniques to leave you relaxed from head to toe.
