The federal government is set to announce $22 million in funding to pilot two programs aimed at identifying neurodiversity among babies between nine and fourteen months old.

The programs will help flatline the cost of the NDIS scheme by around $15 billion over the next four

years and is hoped it will detect developmental disorders early to improve a child’s long-term outcomes.
