In February last year, a plan to demolish the house had been refused partly for being of"poor design" and having"poor quality of accommodation".In the decision conditionally granting permission, the planning officer said: “The proposed development is in keeping with the character and appearance of the area, will provide a good quality of accommodation for future residents and will have no significant adverse impact on the adjoining properties.
However, multiple public comments separately claim the application, which includes six parking spaces, merely “tinkers with the issues”.
