The Three Mile Creek Greenway Trail project is taking shape, aiming to create a continuous linear park system in Mobile.
) - Once finished, this trail will link city parks, local infrastructure, and downtown Mobile, providing a scenic route for biking, walking, and running.
“From East to west it starts out at Japanese Gardens and it goes to Martin Luther King boulevard,” explained Mayor Sandy Stimpson. “And then north to south really … the nodes at the end will be Tricentennial Park.” Another key element of this new part of the project is the installation of solar lights. The solar lights power the camera system and WiFi devices, enhancing both security and connectivity.
