13News reporter Angelica Robinson talks with neighbors in the 146th Street and Allisonville Road area who say they are getting tired of the construction.
“It's going to look more like US 31, where 146th Street goes over Allisonville Road and a turnabout is underneath,” said Brandi Tarner of the Hamilton County Highway Department.
“A lot of overflow traffic here,” said Brent Dow. “ using our personal driveway as turnaround locations, which isn't much appreciated."Road construction and closure signs at the intersection of 146th Street and Allisonville Road in Fishers, Thursday, March 21, 2024. "With Hamilton County growing as much as it has been and 146th being a main thoroughfare, that road sees of 140,000 cars per day,” said Tarner. “Just to keep our connectivity moving steadily, it's just going to be the best for us."The Fishers Police Department, Noblesville Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department have increased patrols in the area.
