The new poll comes after the Supreme Court announced Holyrood does not have the power to hold a second vote on the constitution without the consent of Westminster.
Scots voters have backed breaking away from the United Kingdom for the fourth independence poll in a row, according to the latest data.
A total of 1090 people were asked in the poll which comes following three favourable surveys - by Redfield & Wilton Strategies, Ipsos and Find Out Now - for the pro-independence side. YouGov's poll shows that if "don't knows" are included then independence sat at 47 per cent while support for staying in the Union was at 42 per cent.
