The current average State Pension arrears payouts range between £2,245 and £12,383.
The Department for Work and Pensions has announced that an update on the State Pension Underpayments Legal Entitlements and Administrative Practice exercise is due to be published before the end of this month. Pensions Minister Paul Maynard MP also said that the report will cover progress made up until the end of February this year.
The data also indicates 595,964 State Pension awards have been reviewed, with average payouts ranging between £2,245 and £12,383. Commenting on the LEAP exercise, he said: “The Department will be publishing its progress with the State Pension Underpayment Legal Entitlements and Administrative Practice exercises to the end of February 2024 before the end of March 2024.”
