Nexon has released The First Descendant update 1.2.4. This is the update that added Ines Raya to the game, and Nexon is giving players free rewards as an apology for its maintenance getting extended. Unfortunately, while the update has added a lot of fantastic new content with Ines Raya and the Lunar New Year skins, the update has screwed a lot of the The First Descendant players, even after the release of a hotfix.
On the game’s official Discord, Nexon posted at 7AM GMT, “The issue has been found to persist even after Hotfix 1.2.4b. We are currently identifying the cause and will resolve it as quickly as possible”. Many PS5 players claim the game is immediately crashing as soon as they enter Albion, while others are reporting that the game can’t even start.
