A NEW traffic-light-controlled junction is now operational on a busy road in East Renfrewshire.
As part of it, a new traffic-light-controlled junction at Ayr Road, Hunter Drive, and Mearnswood Place in Newton Mearns is now operational.
The junction replaces the previous Malletsheugh Roundabout and provides separate crossings for people walking and cycling in the area.said:"The junction design closely follows the very latest best practices and is the first of its kind in East Renfrewshire. "We have therefore developed the following guidance for walking, cycling, and driving through the junction.
