Newcastle 2 Nottingham Forest 0 opening weekend through the eyes of an 11 year old nufc
At 12.30 on Friday afternoon we got a train from Kings Cross to come up to Newcastle for the first game and it was ok, I guess. There isn’t a lot to do on a train so it was an ok train journey but a bit boring.
We also met Robbie at Pacific bar and his young mates from Wallsend and Forest Hall, who I have met at away games, and they were kind to us. We watched some of the Liverpool game and said what the Newcastle score would be. We then went to the food bank and we saw Steve and my dad gave them some money and we had a great chat with him.
