The 26-year-old has attracted interest from Premier League rivals in the past and has not been a regular fixture in Howe’s team, with an exit now firmly on the cards.

His ongoing frustrations over his role alongside some potential behind-the-scenes concerns and a lack of positivity at St James’ Park could now point to wider departures.
“Bruno Guimaraes was moaning at the ball that Willock played, or didn’t play, and Willock fired back at him, it wasn’t a pretty sight. “To me at least, it points to there being a bit of unhappiness behind the scenes and frustrations are boiling over into the games which is never a good sign.
“If Willock or anybody else is unhappy at Newcastle, the club will be prepared to move them on in the summer, because they can’t allow that to go any further. “There are a few issues in the squad at Newcastle, it doesn’t feel particularly settled at the moment and there a few players you can see moving on in the summer.
“If that incident on the pitch is anything to go by, and honestly it might just be nothing but it didn’t look particularly positive, then these issues need to be sorted out. ”Willock is not the only player believed to be eyeing a move away from Newcastle this summer amid suggestions of unhappiness and disillusionment. After what has been a frustrating season for the Magpies which could see them miss out on European football altogether, multiple players are eyeing exit.
Newcastle are expected to hold out for a £75million fee, while Bayern are likely to offer in the region of £65million with negotiations still set to take place. This comes after Howe confirmed the England international has been left out of recent squads as he is already looking to the future ahead of the summer window.
