OATH TO THE REPUBLIC. President Marcos addresses the new generals of the armed forces after their oath-taking at Malacanang yesterday. PCOTHE 39 newly promoted senior officials of the military on Tuesday called on Armed Forces of the Philippines chief Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., a day after they took their oath before their Commander in Chief, President Marcos.
Twenty of the 39 newly promoted officers are from the Philippine Army , nine from the Philippine Air Force , nine from the Philippine Navy , and one from the Chaplain Service .
