The cafe was proving popular with customers

A newly-furnished cafe, which opened last year, has gone up for sale. The owner of Kavi Char, in Beechwood Road, Arnold, has sustained an injury and is unable to manage the business, according to the company selling the property.

The cafe's Facebook page announced in January: "We closed since November due to Kevin’s injury, but we are planning to reopen in coming one to two months, with our whole new menu." However, earlier this month the lease was put up for sale at £36,500 on property site Rightbiz. The 22-seater cafe, that has outdoor space for seating a further 20 customers, sold breakfast, gyozas and noodles, afternoon tea, bubble waffles and boba tea.

The sales blurb states: "Located on the main road of a residential area in Arnold, Nottingham, the cafe is situated next to the local post office, barber shop, and a variety of other retail outlets. There is no competition in the immediate vicinity, presenting a huge opportunity for aspiring cafe owners.
