Next chapter for 250-year-old Ribble Valley pub as new landlords take over
Two new landlords have taken over the running of a local which has been serving pints for more than 250 years.
The inn is constructed of sandstone and includes a roaring open fire in the 70-capacity bar, as well as five bespoke, en suite letting rooms and a three bedroom cottage. Mr Clegg decided to sell the pub to pursue other business interests. Ed Ashton, one half of the inn’s new husband and wife team, was previously the general manager at the Brown Cow, in Chatburn. He said: “Laura and I are extremely pleased to be taking on the Lower Buck Inn and adding our own stamp to the business.
