The Eagles used the second-round pick they acquired from the Washington Commanders to select Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean .said that he loved to make trades during the draft, especially reaching out to teams to see who would be willing to make a deal. Roseman’s call to Washington Commanders general manager Adam Peters was successful, with the two teams finalizing the details to get something done in the second round.
Sinnott may have been a reach given the depth of the tight ends in this year’s class, but if he develops into what they hope he can be, he gives rookie Jayden Daniels a safety blanket to throw to, which is needed for a young quarterback as they get their feet wet in the league.
