NFL legend Tom Brady invests in Birmingham and handed new role
NFL legend Tom Brady has been announced as a new minority shareholder of Birmingham City and will take a hands on role at the club.has entered into a partnership with Knighthead Capital Management LLC to become minority owner of Birmingham City Ltd.Brady is an NFL legend but is now dipping into sports club ownershipThe 46-year-old will become chairman of the new advisory board, working directly with the club's board and members of the Blues' leadership team.
Brady is regarded as one of the greatest sportsmen of all time, spending 23 seasons in the NFL and went to 10 Super Bowls. Tom Brady said: “Birmingham City is an iconic club with so much history and passion and to be part of the Blues is a real honour for me. BCFC is built on teamwork and determination and I’m excited to work alongside the board, management and players to make our Second City club second to none.
