Thomas didn’t appear in the first four games of 2023, then played in 12 of the remaining 13 and started seven.. “I wasn’t nervous. I was just out there, and I was playing my game, having fun. Even though I had a lot of peaks and valleys last season, I feel like I stepped up to the plate every single time. I didn’t shy away from anything.
Thomas started Arizona’s preseason opener, played 24 defensive snaps and had a pass breakup he thought should have been an interception in the Cardinals’ 16-14 loss to the New Orleans Saints last week.
