Millions of Brits suffer from unexplained medical symptoms which doctors are baffled by but urge people to take them seriously
Millions of people experience medical symptoms which have no apparent answer according to the NHS. Many patients experience ongoing physical issues, like constant dizziness or pain, that don't appear linked to any identifiable medical condition.
The NHS states just because their appears to be no cause: "This doesn't mean the symptoms are faked or "all in the head" – they're real and can affect your ability to function properly. Not understanding the cause can make them even more distressing and difficult to cope with." About one in four people who see a GP have physical symptoms that cannot be explained. While there not be an obvious cause, these symptoms often later get attributed to phycological issues such as fatigue, anxiety and depression. Alternatively conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia are other causes later found responsible.
