The British public came together to applaud the NHS for their incredible efforts on the frontline battling the coronavirus outbreak and saving lives.
After the clap was over and with millions of videos posted on social media recording the amazing efforts of people coming together for the salute, the NHS sent a heartfelt message.Many people took the opportunity to reply with sweet messages: "A wonderful opportunity seized, in dark times, to express our love and gratitude to all our wonderful #NHS staff."
It was captioned: "To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by #COVID19 : thank you. #ClapForOurCarers #ClapForNHS ". Other famous faces also expressed their gratitude for the NHS with their own videos of themselves taking part, with stars like Stacey Solomon and Gemma Collins getting emotional over the moment.
Tears are then seen streaming down Gemma’s face as she adds: “Everyone’s in the unknown at the minute and it’s just amazing that everyone came out and showed their support.
