Jacqueline Rooney quit her teaching job and became a full-time artist eight years ago
An artist from Co Down who is taking her work to a prestigious exhibition in the United States emphasised the importance of following your passions.
"He found me on Instagram and loved my art and wanted to collaborate. So we collaborated on an exciting interiors project, and he put my art on his furniture designs and onto velvet. "Essentially, they invite international artists who caught their eye, who stood out for them to exhibit at this exhibition in the heart of LA and then at the exhibition itself, then local galleries and business people and inter designers, hoteliers and all of that will come along.
Jacqueline added: "Things I've always dreamt of doing are now happening, it's all kind of happened like a whirlwind."
