The operator of a South Belfast pizzeria has been fined £2250 in court for food hygiene offences after an 'active mouse infestation' was found during an inspection.

, with Environmental Health Officers finding the pizzeria was not pest proofed and there was an active mouse infestation.READ MORE: The 33 Belfast premises with a food hygiene rating of 1The premises were rated one indicating ‘major improvement necessary’to comply with the food hygiene requirements. It has since been re-rated following a further inspection where hygiene conditions within the premises were deemed to be at satisfactory standard and a food hygiene rating of 4 issued.
