The Aussie soap returns to our TV screens later this month on Amazon Freevee
It's not long now until the much-anticipated reboot of Neighbours hits our screens and fans of the show around the world are already ecstatic.
It was dropped by Channel 5 after failing to secure new funding, but its return was revealed late last year with a social media clip featuring some of the show’s most recognisable characters being told the news. Gareth proposed to Karen while on holiday in Cornwall in December 2019 and wearing a Paul Robinson mask as she is obsessed with him. And at their wedding in October 2021 at Orange Tree House in Greyabbey, they also had a life-size Paul Robinson welcoming guests."We went from watching Neighbours every day of our life to then not having a favourite soap to watch every day so it was really hard but seeing the amazing news that it was coming back was brilliant.
In March, some of the Neighbours cast hit the stage in Belfast as part of their UK Celebration tour, originally planned as a ‘Farewell Tour’. "Paul actually remembered Karen and I and gave us a big hug when saw us and gave us autographs etc. We were actually talking to the cast that much we had to be moved on by the event team!"
